In an industry dominated by males, Ce'cile takes on dancehall by storm with her bold and sultry sounds. Seen as an innovator, she has never steered away from expressing herself. With very bold and outspoken lyrics, she has had the opportunity to work with many popular artists like Elephant Man, Sean Paul, Timbaland, and Shaggy.
She addresses issues that females shy away. From touring in the U.S. and overseas, dancehall's Bad Gyal still remains very humble and true to her fans. Her new album "Waiting" was just released and may be her mark to international stardom with popular Jamaican singles already released.
In between her busy schedule, she had time to check in with us for Black History Month about some of her musical influences.
