WERS 88.9 fm Album Review: Daron Ja'Von - Daron Ja'Von
December 12th, 2009
New to the music scene is local gospel RnB singer Darion Ja'Von, whose self-titled album dropped this past Summer. The entire album has a very romantic neo-soul feel that is truly enjoyable, featuring remixes to the beats of Mario's "Music for Love," and Bobby Valentino's "Anonymous." You can listen to the whole album and not get bored at all; it flows wonderfully. Songs like, "I love to Worship" have a more classic jazz feel, while the bonus track, "Africa," has more of a spoken word, poetic flavor.
His debut album features other new artist's Ashtronomix and B- Luv, who he toured with earlier this year. Although little is known about this current Berklee student who tweets in his spare time, we know that this album is sure to entertain you and your friends.
