This year’s line up includes:

Aires-Shoot---low-resDartmouth Aires:
Founded as an offshoot of the Glee Club in 1946, the Aires are Dartmouth's oldest a cappella group. The Aires broke with the Glee Club in the late 1970s and have since established themselves as an independent Dartmouth landmark through decades of musical excellence and high-energy performance. The Aires hold auditions every fall and are comprised of nineteen members from across campus. The Aires sing original arrangements, representing a dedication to musicality that has led them to become one of the nation's most recognized and acclaimed all-male collegiate a cappella groups.

VoicemaleBrandeis Voicemale:
Founded in 1994, Brandeis VoiceMale travels coast-to-coast performing a mix of rock, pop, R&B, and oldies at colleges, high schools, and a variety of private functions. In May of 2009, VoiceMale released its latest studio album, “Suit Up,” which has recently been nominated for 4 CARA’s (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards), including Best Male Collegiate Song, Original Song, Soloist, and Album. VoiceMale is the defending champions of WERS All A Cappella Live and is honored to be performing for the fourth straight year at the Cutler Majestic Theatre. Thank you to our friends, families, and alumni for their gracious support.

MIT-ChorallariesThe MIT Chorallaries:
Started over January term in the '76-'77 school year, the Chorallaries are MIT's oldest co-ed a cappella group. The group is comprised of an eclectic group of students coming together from all walks of life to contribute to some serious music-making. The Chorallaries, while being wildly popular on campus at MIT, have also gained national recognition through participation in a cappella competitions, production of award-winning CD's, and travel throughout the country. The group is also responsible for the infamous Concert in Bad Taste, a night each year where political correctness gets thrown out the window.

Harvard CallbacksHarvard Callbacks:
Conceived in the fall of 1986 by Harvard undergraduates Craig Hickman and Morgan Inniss, the Callbacks originated as a mixed a cappella group aiming to diversify the spectrum of artistic performance at the college.  It was not long before the group developed a musical presence of its own, earning recognition for their unique style and captivating performances.  As a group, we pride ourselves in our ability to refine our performance and remain at the top of the art.  We each try our best to translate the passion and the humor that this group provides us into a fun, soulful show for every audience.

Doo Wop ShopThe UMass Amherst Doo Wop Shop:
The Doo Wop Shop (a.k.a. "The Shop") began in 1993 when one of the founding members got a few of his singing friends together to serenade and ask out his crush, who worked as a cashier at the local Stop and Shop. Of course, she said yes and The Doo Wop Shop was born. All members, past and present, have been or currently are students at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and though they come from a variety of backgrounds, each are united by a mutual love for music. Over the past decade and a half, the Shop has formed into a contemporary collegiate A Cappella group with a drive to perform with a unique blend of music and fun.

NoteworthyEmerson Noteworthy:
Noteworthy was founded in 2002 by a couple of Emerson students who wanted to make music. Quickly establishing itself as Emerson's Premier A Cappella Group, Noteworthy has since grown to become a group seen not only on Emerson's campus at major events like the EVVY Awards and Freshman Orientation, but throughout Boston and the New England area. Alums on both coasts have also sung together in spin-off versions of the group, bringing Noteworthy's signature style of energetic fun and tight arrangements to audiences throughout the country.
